We are camped at East Harbor State Park in Marblehead, OH on Lake Erie. Weather was so nice last night we had our first night with windows and dormer open. Also our first campfire! Of course, it gets dark at 8:58 and we go to bed at 9:32, so that's not much fire time...most was in daylight. :(
Yesterday morning we rode our bikes all over Historic Port Clinton, OH - known throughout America as the place Carol Hopfinger Genser was born. Not my home town, bc we moved away right after I was born, but we got a lot of pics to show Nana. Having trouble loading pics...
We are off to Kelley's Island for the day to ride our bikes around.
Happy Mothers Day!!! We are enjoying camping across America with you! Great pics and stories.
ReplyDeleteWe took our boat out for the 3rd time on Thursday the 10th. It was her maiden voyage into the ocean and it was a bit choppy. She handled very well and didn't mind how wet Faye and I got with the waves coming over the bow. :-) We are looking forward to hearing many more adventure stories. Happy trails!
